The Manager, Network Operations Center is responsible for ensuring that the Network Operations Center (NOC) is staffed 7 x 24, that policies and procedures are followed, assess team member skills, identify and administer training, responsible for all team members passing training modules at 85% passing grade, being an escalation point for the NOC, and is an authorized agent for inContact restarts. Other responsibilities also include, daily performance of the organization's network, oversees daily operations of network staff and records incidents and changes. Conducts weekly meetings with direct reports, providing direction and sets expectations. Performs annual performance reviews with each direct report and monitors progress of stated objectives on a monthly basis. This position will be responsible for writing and training standard operating procedures. The Network Operations Center Manager must be familiar with a variety of voice, VoIP, data, and contact center applications, concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish team objectives.
__This Is What You'll Get To Do:__
Provides management of personnel and policy enforcement.
Monitors and responds to network troubles, outages and events.
Installs and tests customer and network T1 and DS3 facilities.
Provides 3rd level support for customer care, inContact support, Toll Free and 1
Departments.
Answers phones and creates trouble tickets in support of NOC and help desk functions.
Is a functional manager role and as such this person performs NOC technician functions as well as management duties.
May require traveling to POP's for testing, troubleshooting or installing of equipment and services.
Must be able to work flexible schedule and support on call services.
May be required to work nights, evenings, and weekends and be on call.
Must be able to function in a high stress environment and work multiple tasks.

Provides 3rd level support for inContact

Communicate in an effective and professional way with customers in and outside of inContact.
__Successful Candidates Will Have The Following:__
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications or related field or equivalent work experience required.

years working in telecommunications/NOC environment
1
years experience managing technical and service teams
Knowledge of T1 and DS3 install and test
Knowledge of Telecommunications wiring
Knowledge of Telecommunications switch/PBX programming
Knowledge of SS7
Knowledge of Windows OS and computer architecture
Conceptual understanding of TCP/IP, Routers, Switches, Hubs, Firewalls, Domains, DNS, DHCP, and Subnets
