JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title CEO-Chief Executive Officer Department Administration Reports To Board of Directors Positions Supervised CFO, Medical Director, Clinic Manager, Quality Director, Behavioral Health Director, Dental Director, Pharmacy Director, Optometrist, & Communications Director POSITION PURPOSE ? Promote and carry out the community health center's strategic plan and lead the community health center program operations and staff, following the mission of Utah Partners for Health.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS ? Strategize - Formulate, direct and lead comprehensive operations strategies pertaining to organizational, financial and fundraising goals; patient care philosophy; department standards; and staff functions at UPFH.
? Ensure the budget, staff, and priorities are efficient and aligned with UPFH's mission.
? Communicate - Lead and inspire the professional conduct, practices and development of staff, management team, internal and external providers.
? Network - Act as the advocate for UPFH to external groups, legislative bodies, agencies and others in support of UPFH's mission, vision and direction.
? Establish and evaluate the organization's policies and procedures, clinical procedures, as well as the continuous quality improvement activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, industry regulations and standards of practice.
? Evaluate the current execution and potential of expansions of health services.
? Lead and negotiate written collaborative and memorandums of agreement for centers and patient services.
Oversee contracts, ensuring appropriate legal counsel as necessary.
? Responsible for the management and processing of claims-related activities (malpractice) and serves as the claims point of contact.
Claims management activities are a part of the individual's daily responsibilities.
ANCILLARY JOB FUNCTIONS ? Remains current with standards of primary health care practice.
? Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE ? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Care Administration or equivalent is required.
? 5
years related experience in major operations responsibility or upper management positions.
? Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance and registration, and travel throughout clinic sites is required.
? Preferred, but not required:
? Master's Degree preferred, but not required.
? 2 years healthcare facility experience.
? Experience in working with medically underserved populations and cultural competency.
? Experience with the rules and regulations for Community Health Centers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES ? Knowledge of policy-making, grant writing, fundraising, and public relations.
? Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office computer systems.
? Skills in supervising staff and departments.
? Ability to build interpersonal relationship and deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
? Ability to work independently and as a highly functioning team member.
? Ability to think critically.
? Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
? Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
? Ability to communicate in Spanish.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ABILITIES ? Must be able to sit, stand, talk and hear for extended periods of time.
? Must be able to have repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement to type and work on computer.
? General office environment conditions, with moderate noise levels.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
