The Accounts Receivable Clerk plays an integral role within the Transactional Accounting group by posting payments to customer accounts in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include accurate processing and monitoring of incoming payments and ensuring payments are properly applied through verifying, posting, and resolving discrepancies in cash receipts.

Work as an integral part of the AR teamAccurately post cash in our ERP systemInquire on payments with missing remittance Review and research payment unidentified paymentsSend requests for updating payment method to ACHProcess debit/credit memos Assist in the monthly revenue accrue and close processMonitor and reinforce accounting processes and internal controlsResearches and resolves all unallocated payments within the established benchmarksResponsibilities are not all-inclusive and may change based on the needs of the companyWhat You Need to Be Successful:
Attention to detail Problem-solving skillsTime managementExperience in Accounts Receivables and/or Cash Applications Ability to work as part of a teamVery organized with the ability to multi-taskAbility to learn and utilize different software platformsAssist in the development of efficient processesModerate to intermediate level expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Adobe PDF, or equivalentGood communication skillsSelf-motivated and proactiveProfessional demeanor Preferred Education/
Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent 2-5 years of Accounts Receivable experience2-5 years of Customer Service experience Some college preferred - Business, accounting, management, finance, MIS Additional Information:
