CPA Tax Specialist
Local CPA firm seeking tax professional to join our team. This position will provide tax compliance work for all types of returns as well as general accounting and business consulting to a variety of small to mid size businesses.
CPA certification or CPA candidate or EA
M.S. degree in Accounting or MBA with emphasis in taxation.

years CPA firm experience, preferable in a mid to large CPA firm assisting individuals, corporations, LLC's, trusts and estates.
Demonstrate past success assisting small business clients, as well as individuals with taxes, completing tax returns (simple to complex), tax compliance issues, and tax planning.
Ability to review tax returns prepared by other associates.
Demonstrate past success in working with QuickBooks, preparing book to tax adjustments, working with clients personnel to correct and reconcile their books.
Familiar with multi-state tax issues, family partnerships and trusts
Ability to interact professionally with multiple clients remotely and in person.
Strong oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
High attention to detail, accuracy, organization & problem solving skills.
