The inContact User Experience team is looking for a Senior UI Designer with an impressive eye for design to join the team. The Senior UI Designer should believe in simple, elegant designs but also understand that user-friendliness doesn't end with just a visually appealing product. A great product is intuitive and effectively anticipates the customer's needs.
Create a beautiful, functional design that works for all of inContact's customers, from small contact centers of five to ten agents to large contact centers that are multi-million dollar operations with highly customized needs for hundreds of agents. Design innovative features that help contact centers analyze and optimize their agents.
We are looking for an innovative self-starter, passionate about creating unrivaled user experiences. The right candidate will utilize immersive style methodologies i.e. walking a mile in the shoes of the user. The candidate will be eager to tackle the many user interface challenges we have to create a beautiful, easy-to-use product.
This Is What You'll Get To Do: __
Primary
Ensure a consistent look and feel across all product families and suites
Create beautiful, compelling visual designs and interaction experiences for web applications
Be able to successfully present Visual Designs while supporting the interaction design concepts and prototypes to cross functional teams and lead design and development sessions
Present designs to engineers in a clean and organized fashion
Manage and develop the UI library style guide
Collaborate with team members, developers, and third parties to ensure the integrity of the interaction is maintained throughout the project development cycle
Work closely with development engineers to design interactive prototypes
Secondary
Solve complex interaction problems with simplistic approaches, illustrating your solution with user flows, wireframes, and visual mockups
Create wireframes to represent user interaction models within product architectures
Collaborate cross-discipline with product managers, and engineers to ensure designs are scalable and feasible
Collaborate with Product Management and other key stakeholders in product definition and strategy development
Translate stakeholder objectives and business requirements into architectural and conceptual solutions
Drive projects from initiation to completion, including analyzing business and customer requirements and working with users to optimize the user experience
Ability to lead UX projects from concept to production
Successful Candidates Will Have The Following: __
At least 4 years professional experience as a UI designer
Able to develop rapid prototypes using your various prototyping tools and wireframe tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Axure, Balsamiq, etc
Visual arts skills with a portfolio that illustrates strong user interface Design.
Academic background in graphic and visual design, human-computer interaction, interaction design, or related field
Good understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
Experience working within a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment

High level of proficiency in user interaction and interface design
Passion for designing products with simple, intuitive experiences that delight customers
Experience developing flows and interaction for complex web and mobile applications a plus
