DELIVERY DRIVER/WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
Job Description
Allred's Inc. is looking for a delivery driver to deliver various HVAC related products ( furnaces, A/C units, sheet metal, duct, etc) to our customers. This position also requires warehouse order pulling and product palletizing, product receiving and stocking, attending the will call desk and customer assistance when not on deliveries.
Responsibilities
Employee will be responsible for accurately pulling orders on pick tickets in a timely manor, loading up the 16' flatbed truck according to DOT safety standards and delivering said orders to awaiting customers. When not out on deliveries, the employee will be placed on will call duty which consists of order pulling for in store customers and assisting customers with loading their vehicles. When not on will call duty, employee will be in the warehouse receiving and putting away incoming product, stocking shelves, and tidying up the warehouse as needed. Employee will be required to operate a forklift. In house certification will be provided. This is a fast paced position and you will be expected to work quickly!!!!
Qualifications
Delivery experience driving a large truck is highly preferred but not required. Forklift experience is highly preferred but not required. General knowledge of Salt Lake City and surrounding areas is a plus. Must have the ability to speak and read English proficiently. Must have a positive attitude and work well with other team members. Must have the ability to lift 50 or more lbs. This is a physically demanding job. Employee must be able to be on their feet throughout their 8
hour shift. Laziness and complacency will not be tolerated.
Must have clean driving record and must obtain and submit said record from DMV. This is a drug free workplace. There is a zero tolerance policy in place. Applicant must be willing to submit to drug testing upon hire and randomly throughout employment. This position starts at $14/hr.
Shift will be 7 am to 4 pm Mon- Fri. but may be subject to change.
