Job Description
FASHIONPHILE is looking for a mid to senior level UX web developer to help build high-quality web based based applications. We are an online luxury handbag company based out of Carlsbad California, with tech operations in Utah. We are looking to add to our development team someone who understands the important visual details behind our great styling and branding. An ideal candidate is not a just a solid graphic designer but also someone who has experience with the entire software development life cycle.
Responsibilities
- This is not an Adobe Creative Suite position, but someone who is fluent in building web interfaces using front end coding/frameworks as their medium.
- Work along side design/marketing department coordinating with other designers/developers.
- Make design decisions in order to complete projects.
- Be apart of re-building the frontend customer shopping experience.
- Understand the customer demographic's behavior.
- Help establish company standards for design elements.
Qualifications
Technologies we use:
Bootstrap, html5/Sass, Vue.js, jQuery, React-native, GitHub Additionally, we are a LAMP stack operation so having experience in each letter in that acronym would be helpful.
- Background in user interface design and development conventions focusing on mobile first philosophy.
- Debugging
- Understand MVC Design patterns
- Comfortable with API integrations
- History with user conversion and A/B test driven development
- 7
years experience in a professional working environment. Exceptions could be made depending on your ping pong skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
