Processing Clerk
Overview
Business Process Clerks are responsible for capturing, processing, and validating Savage Operation's financial and operational information. They are critical in all continuing business processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and KPI production.
Responsibilities
Input daily financial information
Input daily operational information
Work across many different types of business operations
Process customer invoices
Take ownership of deadlines, coordinating multiple stakeholders
Participate in the collection of outstanding invoices
Process accounts payable, purchase card transactions, etc.
Assist in the development of efficient business processes
Monitor and reinforce accounting processes and internal controls
Act as a point of contact for team members, vendors, customers, etc.
Responsibilities are not all inclusive and may change based on the need of the company
Qualifications
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work within a team and drive scalability
Must be able to ask productive questions and work with people to solve problems
Interface with teams that are functionally and geographically diverse
General understanding of AP, AR, etc.
Excellent organizational skills (Computer files, process deadlines, paper documents, etc.)
Ability to learn and utilize a variety of software platforms
Time management skills (Ability to prioritize, be proactive, etc.)
Dependable and reliable
Professional in appearance and demeanor at all times
Education/Experience
Undergraduate degree (Preferred)
1 year professional work experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Computer savvy and comfortable learning new software
Physical Requirements
Work is in a professional office environment
Ability to sit or stand at an office desk for long periods of time
